Incentive, Corporate and Awards Social Photography.
I cover corporate events and social photography at venues across the central belt of Scotland though the ones I mostly photograph take place in Edinburgh where I am based.
Some favourites are for incentive travel events with Scottish evenings at Stirling Castle complete with Highland Warriors enacting sword fights with some hair razing vigour. The faces of guests change from smiles and laughing to terror as wooden shields used for defense are split apart with massive iron swords. The Great Hall at the castle is a vast, spectacular high vaulted room where the banquets take place.
A highlight at the end of 2014 was to cover a familiarisation visit to Cape Town in Sough Africa for 12 international conference destinations.
Closer to home I have enjoyed covering social events at the Edinburgh International Conference Centre, the Assembly Rooms resplendent after a multi million pound refurbishment, 5 star hotels The Balmoral, The Caledonian Hotel and the Sheraton Grand.
Some venues such as a Lord Provost reception at the City Chambers have wonderful splendour and huge paintings act as ideal backdrops for social photography. Likewise drinks receptions in the Dovecot Tapestry Studios in Edinburgh have bright coloured works on the walls which again make for photography with an added splash of colour.
Conference Social Events
Some pretty fun social events take place at various prestigious venues during conferences.
Always great fun to photograph and to look for ‘different’ angles and subjects is a mission when possible.

Incentive Travel and Social
Stirling Castle, the 5 star luxury Gleneagles Hotel and the former Royal Yacht Britannia are just some of the high profile venues chosen by clients to host their guests in style on their visit to Scotland.
I am delighted to be working with Spectra Destination Management Company here in Scotland having worked with them for the past 10 years.
Also in my client list is Experience Scotland and K&N Associates and Wedgewood Travel of London.
