I was delighted to get a call from Joe Stanfield MBE of the Royal Air Forces Assoc (RAFA) to cover the Battle of Britain 75th Anniversary service at St Giles Cathedral in Edinburgh on 24 Sept 2015.
This was being attended by Battle of Britain veterans and HRH Prince Andrew, Duke of York, as well as RAFA president Air Marshal Sir Dusty Miller and the Lord Provost of Edinburgh. The hour long service was followed by a reception in the Lothian Chambers.
