Pleased with a job I did for them at Edinburgh’s Hogmanay, G4S asked me to cover a presentation to R&A Chief Execuitve to mark 30 years of working with the R&A.

A glorious day on 6 Feb and one that started in the Chief Executives office – with views across the 1st tee, the 18th green, the Swilken Bridge and the bay at St Andrews where filming took place for Chariots of Fire.  A view golfers would dribble over. The room that is used by Peter Dawson is the centre of the administrative activities of both The R&A and The Royal and Ancient Golf Club.  It is the office of the Chief Executive of The R&A and the Secretary of The Royal and Ancient Golf Club, and it’s also where the major meetings of The R&A and the Club take place.  It is a room steeped in history.
