A rather gloomy morning broke out to a lovely sunny afternoon just as the wedding ceremony was ending.
Claire and Mark had their ceremony in the stables at Hopetoun and the reception and meal in the grand ballroom in the house’s other wing.
Doing all the group photos was pretty easy as all the guests make their way across past the massive steps to the main house so it so much easier having them all together before they head off to the drink trays awaiting with the bubbles. Then I was able to do the next sizes of groups down until the immediate bridal party photos.
The main house and grounds provide superb backdrops and locations for photos. I had done a recce some weeks prior to fix on the places I wanted to use. That’s was good as otherwise I’d have been trying to do too many.
