Two Lothian Buses liveried with Clipper Races branding were unveiled today by Cllr Jenny Dawe Leader Edinburgh Council  and Ian Craig, Managing Director of Lothian Buses to promote City of Edinburgh’s marketing of the Clipper Race .

Lothian Buses branded two of their prestigious Service 22 double decker buses. Brandishing a full ‘wrap around’ advertisement in the Edinburgh Inspiring Capital yacht livery of vivid pink and purple, these 78 seater buses will run daily until the final day of the race in June 2012.

Shoot for two  little apartments in the Grassmarket and Victoria Terrace owned by very enterprising young lady with a real sense of design and style. I was most impressed by the development of her two properties and her ideas for expansion in the self catering market in Edinburgh.

Call from Raphael Rodin looking for pictures for his fringe festival show on the last night. Story telling and music and fantastic show and shooting live. Well enjoyed the shoot and helpful venue who allowed time after with lighting to get some more controlled shots.

But prepping for long haul south tomorrow Sat 30 July to Teignmouth, Bognor Regis, Weston Super Mare and Windermere to photograph Vision Hotels . Vision Hotels operates exactly like a commercial business, but are different because they are a non-profit organisation and are part of Action for Blind People.

Umm… 24 hour driving and photography for a week – cool.

A real weekend fiesta of Spanish dance, music, food and a giant paella helped brighten an at times wet Spanish Tourist Board promo event on The Mound Edinburgh.

Spain’s principle holiday areas were there to promote a sun destination which wasn’t lost on a somewhat damp Saturday (Sunday turned out good). I was booked for 2nd year by Lotus UK the London PR agency appointed by the Spanish Touroist Board.

Taste of Spain arrives again this year on 16 and 17 July.  Have been booked again by the London PR agency Lotus Uk on behalf of Taste of Spain.

Taste of Spain Edinburgh

Photographed 3 top notch 5 star self catering apartments bang in the middle of Edinburgh yesterday.

21 Hanover St is literally a stones throw (and a bad one at that) from the National Galleries of Scotland so seconds from Princes Street et al. Fabulous rooms which were a pleasure to photograph.

Commissioned as ‘official photographer’  (well have to brag a bit!) by Lotus UK on behalf of The Spanish Tourist Board for this year’s Taste of Spain by the galleries on The Mound. The mornings  photos were ftp’d to the news desks at lunchtime.

I’m well pleased that ECB (Edinburgh Convention Bureau) chose one of my pictures for the front cover of their new Blueprint – the essential guide to hotel and conference venues as well as conference support services in Edinburgh. The guide is distributed to conference buyers and organisers around the world.

Been booked again for a fabulous hospitality industry dinner in Glasgow - this year at the Radisson Blu Hotel. Really fun event to do. These guys know how to party!
