Two Lothian Buses liveried with Clipper Races branding were unveiled today by Cllr Jenny Dawe Leader Edinburgh Council and Ian Craig, Managing Director of Lothian Buses to promote City of Edinburgh’s marketing of the Clipper Race .
Lothian Buses branded two of their prestigious Service 22 double decker buses. Brandishing a full ‘wrap around’ advertisement in the Edinburgh Inspiring Capitalyacht livery of vivid pink and purple, these 78 seater buses will run daily until the final day of the race in June 2012.
Shot in the ward training wing at the Western General Hospital in Edinburgh it felt like shooting in an episode of Casualty. Thanks to Rachel Lees and LeanrPro for the opportunity to do the shoot for you. And thanks for your feedback.
“I just wanted to say a big thank you for all the pics, they are just what we needed and the turn around was so quick.” Rachel Lees LearnPro.
Dropped off a huge 40”x30” photograph at 3 Rifles today. It was a composite of 40 images from the summer fancy dress ball in July. Not done this before so a bit of a risk at £50 a print if you get it wrong. Anyway after about 2 hours planning, layout, off to Loxley Colour pro printers it came back. Well chuffed at the outcome. Only problem was I put on the floor at home where I thought it was out of the way, but my wife found a way to stand on it. So had to get another one done. So didn’t make much money on the job in the end.
Just started early stages of covering a new hotel development – The Place – on York Place for Neil Ellis. Keen for some VERY early shots to be able to start on line marketing we mocked some nearly ready bedrooms and a hotel reception that was a little way off from welcoming its first guests.
Looks like it is going to be quite a stunning addition to the hotel scene in the city and I am looking forward to shooting further stages as more areas come into operation. Thanks Neil for asking and trusting this project to me. Look forward to a glass of fizz on the opening!! Cheek but yer gorrra ask!
Shoot for two little apartments in the Grassmarket and Victoria Terrace owned by very enterprising young lady with a real sense of design and style. I was most impressed by the development of her two properties and her ideas for expansion in the self catering market in Edinburgh.
Call from Raphael Rodin looking for pictures for his fringe festival show on the last night. Story telling and music and fantastic show and shooting live. Well enjoyed the shoot and helpful venue who allowed time after with lighting to get some more controlled shots.
” good work – I really like the photos – Anastasis likes them as well – great!!!! Maybe see you in the future” regards, Raphael.
A real weekend fiesta of Spanish dance, music, food and a giant paella helped brighten an at times wet Spanish Tourist Board promo event on The Mound Edinburgh.
Spain’s principle holiday areas were there to promote a sun destination which wasn’t lost on a somewhat damp Saturday (Sunday turned out good). I was booked for 2nd year by Lotus UK the London PR agency appointed by the Spanish Touroist Board.
